StableNews #49 - 05/04/2025

Welcome to a new Edition of the StableNews

So many things have happened since we sent out our last newsletter. But that means we have a lot for you this time—let's have a look:

  1. The personal note from the StableWrangler
  2. Best in Shows
  3. Next Tickets and Registrations
  4. New Stories & FAQs
  5. GloryHoles - Woofs and Counters
  6. Do not forget to watch
  7. Talking about stories

1. The personal note from the StableWrangler

Yes, a lot has happened in the nation and with HorseMarket. I don’t want to bore you with politics, but reality hits us all, even in the HorseMarket world. For example, the FDA raided several producers of VHS Cleaners, including one that had been sponsoring HorseMarket for a long time. We had to make the tough call to stop selling cleaner at HorseMarket to keep you safe—and to make sure there’s no reason for anyone to "raid" one of our events.

Even though it’s legal in most states to produce and sell these bottles, the FDA’s action sent a loud message. It destroyed a beloved, famous gay-owned brand and dragged the owners into a legal nightmare that cost them more than they ever made. And let’s be real: having federal agents knock down your door and raid your workplace is terrifying. So: stay alert, and know we will do everything we can to keep you safe at every HorseMarket.

Also: the world is watching us right now. I’ve received a lot of cancellations for Cleveland over the past month from friends abroad—many Canadians, but also others. But I’m so grateful for the kind notes and emails, reminding us that they know it’s not "us" but "them." Thank you for that—we’ll meet again soon!

And on a brighter note: a big thank you to everyone who came to CLAW 25 and supported the organizers. We all know it wasn’t the perfect setup, but the CLAW Team did its very best. I spoke to many guests—some hated the changes, others loved them. But your support keeps CLAW alive and helps the community. I know the CLAW team is already working hard to improve things for next year, so please give them your honest feedback! Luckily, we could adapt to the space we had alongside CLAW, but I will get back to that in the Newsletter.

Alright, enough of the heavy stuff. When I look out from my window I see the sun is shining - so there is always sun afte the rain — let’s get to some ass and dick pics, shall we? 😈

2. Best in Shows

We had two fantastic events during CLAW 25, and many Easter-balls were found—and plenty of new ones seeded 😈.

The venue was the perfect playground, offering a huge canvas to work with. One StableHand described it best:

"It felt like sexually charged feng shui."

—talking about the setup of our new furniture in the Stable. I absolutely loved how it came together: we had everything on the floor—slings, fuck & preacher benches, beds—and, for the very first time, our brand-new HM Stage.

What’s the Stage? You'll have to come and see it yourself next time. I was so excited about it that I completely forgot to take pictures! It’s a professional piece we had custom-made to be a true showstopper for our guests. But fair warning: the Stage won’t travel with us to every city. It’s costly to transport and takes up a good bit of space in the Stable.

We were also gifted THREE beautiful preacher benches, handcrafted exclusively for us by a super-talented guest—huge thanks again! So Cleveland had it all for the first time: if you weren’t there, you missed out on hot new furniture and a ton of amazing guys in action.

And it wasn’t just Cleveland—Portland was a blast too. It was so great seeing all of you in the only PNW Stable! I owe you a bunch of Best in Show winners—half of them worked their asses off (literally), and the other half didn’t hold back either 😜.

Give them a big round of applause:

3. Next Tickets and Registrations

After a HorseMarket are always more HorseMarkets! While we’re still waiting for the San Francisco venue to get final clearance from local authorities (and believe me, I’m pushing like hell because I really want to make sure we’re there for both Dore Alley & Folsom), I wanted to share the next cities we’re returning to—and when Stallion Sale and Mare Registration will open.

For the first time in Cleveland, we introduced staggered sales & registration for Stallions and Mares. This means Stallion ticket sales start first, and Mare registration for the lottery opens later.

Why? Because it massively reduces the waiting time for Mares. In the old system, early-registered Mares who were drawn often had to cancel because their plans changed over time—which must have been super frustrating, getting a spot and then needing to decline it. So we changed that—and it worked beautifully for the Cleveland draw.

We’ll keep this system going because (once again) it’s a small but meaningful improvement for our Mares. 🐴❤️

Let’s make sure you get these dates on your calendar:

4. New Stories & FAQs

We have completely revamped the Story and FAQ Pages!

It is now easier to read, easier to find a FAQ or Story, and for the first time ever, we can send you into direct question & answer inside the FAQ section via a link — which makes it (you guessed it) easier for us to support you because we can just link to a particular answer!

We also added a beautiful story from a Demisexual StableHand. So, please go ahead and sniff through the FAQs and the Stories—these are unaltered experiences from our guests!

I also highly encourage you to write about your own experience and share it with future guests. It doesn’t have to be a long story—it can be short. And it also doesn’t have to be positive: if you didn’t have a good time, we want to hear that too!

We’re aiming for a real, honest picture of the Markets out there. And let’s be real, not every guest leaves happy—I know that since it is impossible to make it perfect for all. But either way, please send in your personal opinion.

We only need your guest number (just to confirm you actually attended one of our events), but the story itself can—and should—stay completely anonymous.

💬 Your feedback helps new guests know what to expect—and helps us make each HorseMarket better for everyone!

5. GloryHoles – Woofs and Counters

Some great news! As promised last time, the Stable Master has been busy working on new pin designs—and they turned out amazing. I know I say that every time, but seriously, these are unique pieces I know a lot of you pigs will love.

So, without further ado: introducing the brand-new Load/Ass Counter Pin—available now at merch.horsemarketsf.com! 🐷

This pin features a hairy booty with rotating numbers so you can keep track of… well, whatever matters to you:

  • loads taken during Folsom Street Fair weekend,
  • the number of asses you’ve mounted at a Horse Market,
  • or even as a life counter for games like Magic: The Gathering!

It’s also extra special: this was one of the final designs by our friend Supertwunk before he was killed, so it holds a deep personal meaning for us. ❤️

But we didn’t stop there! We continued the Mystery Pin Series with a second pup-themed design: The Woof Paw.

This Supertwunk design pairs perfectly with the Pup Hood mystery pin—or stands strong on its own. Show off your pup pride (or your love for pups) with this sharp new piece.

And remember: if you find the Golden Pin, snap a pic and email us proof—you’ll win a ticket to any Horse Market event of your choice as a Mare or Stallion! 🐎

And finally: one for the Anon Glory Hole lovers!
Our new Glory Hole Pin is a total conversation starter—featuring a clean design with just a little cum dripping down the hole. 😈 Perfect for letting people know what you’re into... without saying a word.

👉 Check them all out and grab yours in our merch-shop

Fornication Fan Fest 25 – Save the Date!

Our friends over at Fornication, led by Ray Dalton, are hosting their Fornication Fan Fest 25 (FFF25) this July at the legendary Timberfell Lodge in Knoxville, TN.

It’s happening the weekend of July 17–20, 2025—a perfect time to meet old friends, make new ones, or… just have a ton of sex. 😈

Expect live porn shoots happening right in front of you and the chance to mingle with some of the biggest stars in porn, including:

…and loads of other creators will be there too. 🔥

🎟️ Get your tickets now

We highly recommend FFF25 for so many reasons:

  • Fornication is drug-free, just like HorseMarket.
  • They’re hosting a huge charity raffle.
  • Live DJs will keep the vibe going all weekend.
  • Did I mentioned meeting with Creator and Porn Stars in real live?

But it’s not just about fun. This year’s FFF25 also brings serious inspiration and motivation:

Our very own Race Bannon will deliver the keynote speech—and trust me, that alone is worth the trip. 🙌

Ray describes Race in one word: Joy.
But of course, one word is never enough. Here’s more that captures Race’s spirit:

Community. Pragmatist. Realist. Dreamer. Love. Writer. Activist. Generous-Hearted. Sexual. Kinkster. Fun. Mentor. Kindness. Leather. Respectful. Committed-to-Excellence (yes, with hyphen it is one word lol). Free-Thinker. Cheerleader…

Race is involved in many amazing projects. If you haven’t yet, check out his
On Guard podcast, where topics range from bathhouses, sex club etiquette, and hookups before Grindr, to Pride discussions, leather contests, Folsom Street Fair, and so much more.
Race has been a fan of HorseMarket from the start, and the feeling is 100% mutual. ❤️

Also joining the lineup: HorseMarket fan and sexual wellness advocate David Wichman, author of The Four Rooms. David says:

“Queer sex is an act of resistance.”

No arguments there. 😈 David will be signing books and reading from his newest release at FFF25.

Thank you so much for your time—I truly appreciate it. I hope to see you soon, whether it’s when I check you in at an event or during my travels to your city. Don’t hesitate to say hi and connect!
