2. Thank you, and the forecast for 2025

Thank you for being part of this incredible year.

Whether you attended one event or all of them, your energy and support are what make everything we do worthwhile.

To our amazing StableHands (volunteers) who endured my German-English (GEnglish) training sessions, and to our behind-the-scenes heroes—like Lincoln, our SF-Coat Check Lead, who is after 20 years, retiring today from SOMA Guardians in San Francisco. I want to say a heartfelt thank you.

Lincoln, you will be deeply missed - I miss you! Mahalo nui loa a hui hou!

As we look ahead to 2025, I’m committed to making it even better, with new locations, exciting events, and continued dedication to ensuring every moment is safe, fun, and memorable. I will have some surprises along the way as well.

In recent years, we always took off the month of December, but you know, we didn’t do that this year. In fact, it was the busiest we’ve been in a long time, with six events on three weekends in a row.

So, I will take January off from events—not to be lazy (well, I will watch the GayVN Awards in Las Vegas)—but to scout new cities and locations.

Please support me by crossing your fingers that I can put some new spots on the map after we lost venues in Las Vegas and Chicago, as they’ve unfortunately gone out of business.

I am anal about our venues to make sure every guest has the best experience possible and feels safe!
