Hey everyone.
It's that time for another Newsletter. This will go over the recent 4 San Francisco events (which includes our big 50th 5th-anniversary event last Saturday), and we will go over the upcoming Chicago and Las Vegas events and show you a scientific paper that was written based on Horse Market SF. Let’s Go!
We just came back from 4 San Francisco events and honestly, we are still recovering from them. But it was so much fun to see all our guests enjoying themself - and of course, enjoying what was on offer 😈
Two events we had the weekend before Dore Alley and two on the weekend off.
The last one was our BIG 50th & 5th-anniversary event and boy were they all a lot of work and so much fun 😈
First of all, we want to say thank you so much to all our great Stable Hands who helped out at the events and a special thanks to the ones who even stayed very late to help with the cleanup!
And second, we want to thank an unknown donor who gifted/paid for all the previous Best in Show Mares who wanted to attend one of the 4 events we had over the 2 weekends.
We held Horse Market at a “new” venue in the city. It was previously called SF Citadel, but it has been redesigned by the new owner and he wants to make it a gay event space. He is calling it "Spritz!". His goal is to turn it into an all-around LGBTQ+ rental space. It is equipped with lights, a sound system and a bar (if you want that for an event). It will be great for dance events, play events or even mixed fun/dance events.
We are hoping Spritz becomes Horse Market’s new San Francisco home So please support the venue!
It worked out quite well for us and we are looking forward to coming back. It is a beautiful space and has some unique features. If you are interested in hosting your own events ar Spritz, contact the Stable Wrangler Martin (StableWrangler@gmail.com) for more details.
And, as always front and center: we have counted the votes for the Best in Show. Stallions voted for the Mares and our Stable Hands voted for the Stallions.
Although there were MANY at the event, It is never a Big Dick contest. We look for the Stallions with a great attitude, who are helpful to our blindfolded mares and are just nice to everyone.

And of course, a new month has begun and that means we have to talk about our next events:
First: We are back to the windy City and have a Horse Market during Chicago Market Days. We have two events over that weekend. One on Friday, Aug 11th, and the other on Saturday, Aug 12th.
Both will be pretty fun and we love the venue. As always, as Stallion tickets are purchased, we can add more Mares. So, Mares, please spread the word around.
Post on social media, tell your friends about it, and tell your hookups! The more we get, the more tickets we can open. We hope to see some of you there! Or not see with your blindfold on 😛
After Chicago, we have our Sin City event Horse Market Las Vegas, Club Edition on Aug 18th and 19th.
Our Club Edition events are a bit smaller in venue but more intimate. This is why we call it a Club Edition - it reminds us of the good old days when sex happened in small clubs and basements.
Although smaller, there are still PLENTY of Holes to fill 😈
This would also be a great event to volunteer for too. If you are unsure if the event is right for you or, you would like to get a feel for the event before jumping right in, you could volunteer.

Before we close this newsletter, we want to share with you a research paper that came out recently about gay community sex events and they used Horse Market as a basis for the article.
They looked at all aspects of the Horse Market. The rules of the event, read through all 15 stories that attendees and Stable Hands have sent in, and more.
In the article, masculinity and sexuality are explored from the perspective of gay men who participate in group-based sexual practices. If you want to take a read, click the button or link to go read it! You can even let the website read it out loud for you as an eBook. It is a lot to read but very interesting. We have not been involved in the making and did not even know about it before it was published.
Calling All Mares: Community, Identity, and Group Sex at the San Francisco Horse Market
Lastly, we got many questions about if we are doing a Horse Market Folsom Event(s) and the answer is simple: yes we want that.
We are planning on a Friday and Saturday event with the venue as we speak and we will let you know when it's confirmed. Don’t worry, we will let you know the date when tickets will go on sale when we have them. That way you can be ready. Until then, please be patient :).
Side Note: We may try to do something different and special for a Sunday event. This is just a MAYBE and would be different from your regular Horse Market event. We will keep you posted. And we will only go for it if we can sell enough tickets.
And a very last request one could say: If you know local publications in your town to advertise Horse Market events, in print, online, or podcasts please let us know. We always have a full list of mares that apply in the lottery, but as we all know we need Stallions. And not all cities or Stallions are on our newsletter list. There are people who have not heard of Horse Market before but its right up their alley. This can also help in the finding of venues in new cities! So if you are in the know about a gay / lqbtq+ outlet or even work for one, please let us know!
